Six busts stand in this room. The Institute's records state that each was sculpted from a living sitter. The records also state that none of the six depicts a person who has been identified, and that the sitters are not the same as the subjects.
They rotate because they were installed on turntables in 1971. The turntables have no motors. This was noted at the time and then not noted again.
